Graduate Coordination Office

The Graduate Coordination Office (GCO) in the Electrical Engineering Department is offering support and guidance to the graduate students in Electrical Engineering.

GCO is responsible of carrying out the following duties for Electrical Engineering graduate students:

  • Graduate students’ database maintenance
  • Monitoring their progress and degree plans
  • Resolving graduate student petitions
  • Processing readmission and transfer requests
  • Thesis and dissertation advisor assignment
  • Processing program and field changes
  • Conducting new students’ orientation program
  • Processing thesis and dissertations requests
  • Coordinating comprehensive exam of PhD students
  • Coordinating research-based courses registration and evaluation
  • Assisting students with their academic and nonacademic needs
  • Registration and preregistration approvals
