On January 21, 2026, the Electrical Engineering Department, in collaboration with the EE club, hosted a session delivered by Prof. Joon Young Kwak, an Associate Professor at Ewha Women’s University.

During the session, Prof. Kwak discussed key differences between industry and academia, explaining what changes in day-to-day work, expectations, and growth paths, and how students can identify which direction best fits their goals. He also shared practical advice on how to prepare early, highlighting the importance of building the right skills, developing the right mindset, and seeking meaningful opportunities.

The session concluded with a friendly, interactive Q&A, where Prof. Kwak addressed students’ questions and encouraged open discussion.
