Nanoscale & Quantum Systems   Research Area Seminar

On October 8, 2024, the Nanoscale & Quantum Systems Research Area hosted a seminar titled "Recent Advancements in 2D Material-Based Memristors for Neuromorphic Computing." The session was led by Dr. Jhonathan Rojas (Research Area Coordinator), along with Dr. Hussain Alsalman and Dr. Abdulaziz AlMutairi (Research Area affiliates). The seminar delved into the latest developments in neuromorphic computing, with a particular focus on the progress of 2D material-based memristors. The speakers highlighted how 2D materials and their heterostructures have become a key platform, advancing neuromorphic computing technologies. They also discussed future directions for integrating these materials into the field. The event encouraged interactive discussions with students, fostering engagement with the rapidly evolving landscape of 2D material-based memristors.
