On January 27, 2026, the Electrical Engineering (EE) Department at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) hosted a seminar titled “How to Write a Research Paper.” The seminar was delivered by Dr. Hussein Attia, Associate Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department.

The seminar addressed the challenges that many new researchers and graduate students face when writing research papers, and presented a clear, structured overview of the essential steps in the research-writing process. Dr. Attia covered practical guidance on selecting a topic, formulating research questions, conducting an effective literature review, and organizing content into a coherent, well-structured manuscript.

Participants also gained actionable strategies to reduce writing pressure and improve clarity and quality, helping them produce research papers that are well organized, technically sound, and ready for submission.
