On Thursday, September 17, 2024, the Electrical Engineering (EE) Department had the honor of hosting two distinguished visitors—Dr. Zuyi Li from Zhejiang University and Dr. Mohammad Shahidehpour from the Illinois Institute of Technology. During their visit, they met with the EE Department Chairman, Dr. Mohammad AlMuhaini, along with key faculty members.

Dr. AlMuhaini presented recent departmental initiatives and outlined strategic plans for the future. This was followed by an engaging discussion about potential academic and research collaborations between the institutions, exploring ways to foster innovation and strengthen ties. The visit marks an important step towards enhancing the department's global partnerships.
