Congratulations to Our PhD Researcher for Outstanding Achievements!
The Electrical Engineering Department at KFUPM is proud to celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of our PhD researcher, Ahmed S. Menesy, working under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Habiballah, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abido and Prof. Dr. Salah Kamel. During the 2024 IEEE Sustainable Power and Energy Conference (iSPEC 2024), held from November 24–27, 2024, in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, Ahmed S. Menesy received two Best Paper Awards for their outstanding research contributions.
The award-winning papers are titled:
1. "Optimal Design of Isolated Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems for Sustainable Water Desalination."
2. "Precise Parameter Estimation for Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cells Using Two Sophisticated Metaheuristic Optimization Techniques."
