New EE & EEPH Degree Plan Information Sessions -Dr. Motaz Alfarraj

On March 31, 2026, the Electrical Engineering Department held two information sessions led by Dr. Motaz Alfarraj, Chairman of the Electrical Engineering Department, to introduce the new degree plans and explain key transition details for students. The sessions were held in Building 42, with the first session dedicated to EE students at 5:20 PM, followed by a second session dedicated to EEPH students at 6:20 PM.

During the sessions, Dr. Alfarraj presented the updated BS in Electrical Engineering (EE) and BS in Electrical Engineering and Physics (EEPH) degree plans, and explained how the transition will be applied. He clarified who will follow the new degree plan and who will remain on the old degree plan, and highlighted the main changes in degree plan requirements for each program.

He also outlined the required actions and important timelines students should pay attention to, ensuring that attendees understand the next steps and what is expected from them during the transition period. Both sessions concluded with a Q&A segment, allowing students to raise questions and receive clarifications relevant to their specific program.
