A guest lecture was delivered by Mr. Firoz Ahmad, Lecturer, Electrical Engineering Department, to the students in the course EE 465: Power Transmission and Distribution on Monday, April 29, 2024. The topic of the lecture was “ Future of Bulk Transmission System in Saudi Arabian Grid.” The lecture covered the techno-economic evaluation for higher voltage AC options and HVDC Technology for future bulk power expansion in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
