On November 28, 2023, the EE Department, in collaboration with ABB, organized the Energy Efficiency Day event. The occasion featured insightful presentations spotlighting the efficiency programs of the EE Department and introduced cutting-edge technologies in industrial applications designed to enhance overall energy efficiency.

• Opening Session

 -Dr. Ali Alshaikhi, Vice President of Research and Innovation, KFUPM.

 -Mr. Erich Labuda, President, ABB Motion Services Division.

• KFUPM Session

 -Dr. Mohammad Almuhaini, Chairman of EE department, on Electrical Engineering and Energy Efficiency.

 -Dr. Ali T. Al-Awami, Coordinator of the Energy Efficiency Concentration program, provided insights into the program.

- Dr. Maad Alowaifeer, Coordinator of the Master of Engineering Program in Sustainable and Renewable Energy, shared program details.

-Dr. Atif Al-Zahrani, Director of the Center of Excellence in Energy Efficiency, shared insights on the CEEE's Roadmap Towards a Sustainable Future.
