On February 27, 2024, Dr. Ali Al-Awami had an exciting visit to the Technical University of Berlin (TU Berlin), Germany, where he took part as a member of the PhD committee for Ms. Xinyi Zhang's doctoral thesis defense. Ms. Zhang's thesis, titled "Dynamic Modeling, Stability Analysis, and Controller Design of DC Electric Vehicle Charging Stations," delved into critical aspects of evolving technology. The committee included the student's advisor, Dr. Kai Strunz from TU Berlin, Germany, and Dr. Heng Wu from Aalborg University, Denmark, alongside Dr. Al-Awami.
