On September 24, 2025, the Electrical Engineering Department hosted a seminar called “How to Present a Technical Paper at a Conference,” led by Dr. Ali Muqaibel.
The seminar shared clear, practical steps for giving a strong talk. It explained how to organise your content, create simple and readable slides, speak clearly, maintain good timing, and keep the audience engaged. Dr Muqaibel also demonstrated how to handle Q&A: listen carefully, answer concisely, and remain calm. He pointed out common mistakes and gave helpful tips to avoid them.
By the end, participants knew how to structure a talk, design better slides, and manage questions with confidence. They left better prepared to present their research clearly and professionally.
