Silicon-Based CMOS Integrated Circuits for Low-Power Sensing Applications

This presentation highlights recent advancements in low-power integrated circuits and systems for bio-signal acquisition and intelligent edge applications. It covers three key designs: a temperature-insensitive PPG acquisition system for hemodynamic activity monitoring, a rail-to-rail current conveyor with an active inductor for compact biosignal filtering, and an analog-based AI accelerator implementing a radial basis function neural network for efficient on-chip classification. Together, these developments demonstrate how analog and mixed-signal innovations can enable energy-efficient, intelligent, and reliable sensing platforms for next-generation wearable and healthcare monitoring systems.
